About
Based on the Standard for Integrated Development of Territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the programme introduces students to the basics of current urban planning.
In an intensive three-day format, recognized experts in the field of urbanism will talk about the architecture of residential housing architecture, regulation of development and improvements of transport infrastructure, landscaping and creation of a comfortable urban environment.

After completing the Programme, participants will be able to

- master plan as a new tool for the development of urban areas.

- integrated approach to the development of healthy cities;
- improvement of urban areas with the use of landscaping;
- management of urban transportation infrastructure;
- social and economic role of public transportation;
- role of creative industries in the urban economy;
- creative hubs as drivers of urban development.
Topics of the third day
- tools for involving citizens in urban territories development projects;
- principles of effective communication with the local community;
- development and realization of urban planning projects based on the Standard for Integrated Development of Territories;
- review of books and catalogs of the Standard of Development of the Territories.
